I’m not sure there is any data for zinc that I’ve heard of however, you will likely not experience regrowth unless fungus/yeast/bacteria is the actual root cause of your hair loss
Excessive hair loss only occurs when scalp buildup collects on the scalp. This only happens when you’ve gone too long for YOUR hair and lifestyle. Before worrying about the shampoo…. think about what the tap water is doing. Now…. head and shoulders is a clarifying shampoo so frequent use can cause excessive hair loss. All day! Did I knock this one out the park Dr. Dray??????
I cleanse my hair (and body) every day. My hair needs to be cleansed daily or it gets oddly dry and oily at the same time. I use Wen cleansing conditioner to keep my long hair hydrated and youthful. Typical shampoos dry my hair out and cause breakage. Love Wen!
Dry and oily to me sounds like you are dealing with product buildup. Try using significantly less conditioner after shampoo (and other leave-in products) and see if your hair seems less dry
As much as I love following dermats, this is the sole reason why I don’t like them. Like, there’s so much misinformation, or rather, a lack of information regarding completely normal things people experience like hairfall from shampoos (NOT BREAKAGE), Shea Butter flaring up eczema, especially in humid climate like mine (my dermat constantly gave me Shea Butter laden moisturizers to deal with it, while what actually helped me was colloidal oats), coconut oil helping certain skin conditions..and all such stuff they deem “cannot happen according to science”
I mean, a lotta people report moisturizer flaring up their eczema and being a contributer, among other factors, for causing weeping and blisters. My dermat (she’s good otherwise) literally constantly just gave me Shea Butter moisturizers..when I asked she said, “there’s a good change it’s not the moisturizer, Shea butter is completely safe for eczema, try this instead” and I kept listening to her, finally to purchase the aveeno dermexa cream that I’ve seen 0 dermatologists recommend and that’s what finally worked. Ugh.
Which is best for hair growth, zinc pyrithione, ketokonazole or caffeine? Is it possible to mix either? In the same wash, one after the other, rinsing inbetween.
Thank you so much for your video on dry scalp vs. dandruff. I was having a flare of dandruff for the first time in like 10 years, and thought it was dry scalp! Now I know the difference 😊 Tried head and shoulders and it worked perfectly.
Do you prefer zinc pyrithione or ketokonazole to encourage new hair growth? Thanks!

What’s your humidity??? Your skin is very shiny! Is that moisture from outside because you’re on the porch??
She’s in Houston and says it’s super humid
Could also be the sunscreen. I personally like that glow on the skin because it looks hydrated!!!
@@MISTERBYMEX yup
Let talk about conditioner
Dr dray, don’t listen to the haters. Your eyebrows looked better before naturally
@drdrayzday do you recommend head and shoulders or nizoral for healthy hair growth? Thanks kindly!💕

Thanks for sharing this! I was afraid to use head and shoulders because I color my hair and was afraid of messing up the color!
