I travel a lot and don’t really like packing a lot of things, I usually try to buy mini size products so that I can try more products but also use them up :)
i’ve cut my skincare routine from a lot of internet hyped products down to cerave cleanser, cerave moisturising cream, retinol and hyaluronic acid and la roche posay cicaplast, with either the ordinary aha-bha mask or cerave salicylic acid cream once a week and i’m managing to actually be consistent with this!! when i was using a tonne of different ordinary products and oils and masks my skin was worse
So true, this is the reason why I’ve stopped my exercise routine and now just do whatever exercises I want everyday until I can’t do the exercise anymore for my fitness now, so much simpler and it helps me stay consistent.
Good theory, but i don’t think it applies to me. Maybe bcs im a dangerous shopaholic of skincare products, so i get really giddy and motivated to always do my routine every day and night.
That is all okay as long as you ensure those bands funny torture bunnies in a lab. Watch videos about animal testing if you need some motivation. Saves you money and there are many beautiful products available that don’t hurt animals
THE ADVICE that helped me stick w/ it. Keep it simple, NOT everything will work for me & trust the process. Skincare was a chore. From barely washing my face before to now it being a daily habit that I enjoy.👍❤️🙌
You are glowiiing dr dray! Couldn’t keep my eyes off of the sheen✨ and that’s SO true about inconsistency with multiple products! also increases chances of exposure to potentially unknown allergic ingredients for a person with a very reactive skin like mine! the less products and the minimal ingredient list.. the better!
This is very true. I knew it theoretically but recently I have been experiencing it. My skincare routine is pretty simple. Cleanse, hydratint toner or serum or just skip, moisturizer, adapalene for night. Cleanse, moisturizer, sunscreen for day. But I simplified it more out of laziness recently for my night routine. Cleanse, LAYERS of hydrating toner, adapalene, then baby mineral oil. My skin is looking pretty darn good after this.

I would do this but also scared my sensitive skin would react badly while traveling. Way to ruin a trip

Hello, do you recommend mixing rose hip seed oil with moisturizer or applied after during night time routine

This is so true with oral meds as well. The way to guarantee noncompliance is to prescribe a bunch of pills and expect people to actually take them

Also, how could we identify a product our skin had a reaction to if we put so many old and new and its mix.

Sadly cerave tortures bunnies in a lab. Buy cruelty free products if you don’t want to hurt animals. Otherwise keep buying it. No pressure.

@Marie Maier I agree. They don’t just torture bunnies though

Less planned, more impromptu. This works great if you don’t have specific target.

@Marie Maier definitely most of my holy grails are cruelty free and will be focusing on those ones in the future
