  1. I have used different since I was about 18 years old used it for years and it done wonders for my skin but just like with any acne medicine when you first start using it it makes you have more acne but it all goes away and clears up. And then I didn’t have to use it anymore you know I don’t know if it was because I was getting older or what the deal was lol but it did wonders for my skin. I was on it for years and then I was off of it for like 15 years and then I started back using it again about two years ago and I absolutely love it. Yes, it makes your face a little irritable at first, but once you get used to it, you know it’ll stop doing that and then just keep putting moisturizers on your face, but it really does help with acne blackheads all of that you just gotta stay consistence with using it just like you would any other thing!!!

  2. Differin was incredible for me. Started once a week, moved up to twice daily over the course of 6ish years. Helped my acne, scarring and texture. Paired it with benzoyl peroxide wash and sunscreen. I’ve since moved on to trying out other retinols, but I highly recommend it.

    1. it took several months for everything to be clear but its very worth it! i use it on clean skin and then wait a minimum of 20-30 mins before applying my serum and moisturizer. that time frame where it just sits on my skin i believe is the major key for me and why that product has been so effective. if you have more sensitive areas, use a barrier like aquaphor or vaseline to protect from the gel 👍🏼

    1. Same. I noticed no improvement with Differin after months, if anything worse. I’m using Aklief now and I feel it works much better.

    2. @@RipCurl278you’ve no idea how glad I’m to read this, I have been using it for about 2 months because adapalene did what seemed like nothing for me 🙃 hope it works better on me as well! 🙏🙏🙏

    3. @@RipCurl278 I had the same experience. I switched to cerave resurfacing retinol serum 5x a week and cerave acne control gel 2x a week and that worked a lot better. After building up my skin with cerave, I’m now starting slow on tret. Thankfully I found the right products. Differin def was not one of them lol.

  3. I’ve used it every night since November 2021, my skin is so much better but I have pimples like CC on my forehead that never seem to go away

  4. Differin did not work for me, used it consistently for months. Using Aklief now and I feel like it’s working much better.

  5. Differin is my magic potion. Seriously my favorite retinoid because it does it’s job without making me super dry

    1. yes i agree. i find it does what retina did for me but without all of the irritation. loved retinas results but i was just always so… 🦎 😬

  6. I’ve attempted to use adapalene and curology with tretinoin in it multiple times and just cant get past the dry, crusty, raw stage. it’s too much

  7. I used Differin for 5 years every other night working up to every night the second year. Then my dermatologist and I pursued accutane. Which also took over 4 years to clear me up. Now I’m a year into using adapolene for maintenance. I’m really hopefully I’m in the maintenance phase.

  8. I had really bad cystic acne for a year and it took two months of consistent Differin application for it to really work. It worked a miracle and I had glass skin afterwards.

  9. Differin actually did nothing for my acne lol after 2 years of use I still had cystic acne

    Acutane is where it’s at

  10. Differin is that girl! I started using it every other week, then eventually started using it daily. This is definitely a starter for my acne journey because it did an amazing job. It also made the process faster when my dermatologist prescribed Tazarotene with minimal purging. This is something that people with severe acne should use if they can’t afford to see a dermatologist. You just have to be consistent to see results which may take up to 12 weeks to see improvement. 🎉
