This is completely anecdotal, but my mom who is in her late 40s has been using adapalene for over 8 years and doesn’t look a day over 35. Probably has a lot to do with genetics but I have to admit that it has made me incorporate differin into my routine.

So what other over the counter retinol is a good substitute for anti aging?
Adapalene has worked way better than a prescription Retinol for me I get the same benefits but without irritation and it’s something me and my eleven-year-old can use together so that also saves me money
What benefits do you see? I’m wary of anything that’s marketed as an acne product because they tend to be harsh, but I’m curious.
@chai lattes I personally see improvement in pore size, acne breakouts, acne size, oil production, fine lines, and skin brightness.

I’ve been using tret for around 4 years now and recently had to use just adapalene in its place due to the price of tret in my area. I’d say it definitely works the same just less dryness but my skin feels smooth like it did with tret
