  1. I love seeing people online that aren’t all about having excess amount of things and showing off latest purchases. I wish more people werent so materialistic because we all share this planet and we must keep it clean and clutter free ❤️

    1. Agreed. I’ve actually Minimalised my home from useless junk from watching her videos. From “Moms ” who think popping out a kid makes you grand poobah of life and other fear mongering judgemental hippies with their half baked science, she slays with actual science. My shower and medicine cabinet (let alone the kitchen) has never been easier to maintain. Love ❤️ how she cuts the extraneous. And the budget has never been simpler. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    2. I roll my eyes at that these days tbh. I agree with thoughtfulness but if someone actually uses stuff then that’s their business and their wallet because what’s actually killing the planet right now is pollution from major corporations and the meat industry. We can declutter all day and never make up for them. Besides more brands than ever are creating sustainable options and people buy things they intend to keep longer as they get more mature in my experience. And things they can wear in different combos. “Materialism” and the idea that the working class can’t indulge is a capitalist lie intended to further make us feel responsible for problems we don’t create. First, they took away our leisure with the long work hours and pressure to do overtime. Now, they want people to buy but in ways that feel “sustainable” so that they further have less comforts the bourgeoisie don’t even think twice about. Kind of like how people are advocating for tiny homes. Meanwhile Natives are having their land tore up and prisons of grand size are being built regularly. So yes, sustainability is great, but I do my best without sacrificing pleasure and focus my efforts on the ones who are killing us all. That’s just my take

    3. Amazing way of describing her too. She’s humble and it’s becoming more rare unfortunately, so it’s refreshing

  2. Happy Sunday Dr. Dray! Thank you for all your tips and advice. Really has been helping me during my skin care routine even though I just started in my late 40’s. Better late than never I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️😊

  3. You must have been reading my mind – this morning I wanted to address aging skin on the body and found this post from only 10 minutes ago . Thank you!

  4. I agree about Target. I never do a full shop there. Too expensive and way less options than other stores. Even with my redcard discount

  5. I had to replace my 47 year old freezer on top fridge in August. Due to the supply issues, I had to get a freezer on the bottom model with French doors. I absolutely hate the freezer on the bottom and get annoyed when I have to open two doors to get something on the left side of the fridge.

    1. You don’t have to open both doors to get left side. I thought so too for a bit when I got mine but the middle part folds away when you open just the left door and it works just fine not opening the right door. Give it a try.

  6. You are 100 percent right that new appliances just don’t have the durability of old ones. I have an old Maytag dryer from 2001 that’s still alive and kicking and going strong.
I haven’t tried the vegan strawberry cream cheese but I love sweet flavored cream cheeses! Strawberry, honey, they are all delicious!

    1. @ScotchItali That is amazing! Angelina, I also had a Maytag washer to match my dryer but when it broke, I replaced it with LG. That works fine but honestly I just wish I had just fixed my Maytag instead and kept it, it was probably just a minor repair.

    2. @Angelina   I bought new Maytag laundry pair in 2003. They only lasted 15 years. I bought new Maytags and they have a lot of issues the old ones didn’t have. Like the washer cleans well but I wanted a top loader. If I load sheets and set on bedding it tore them. I think by agitation being too rough. I learned to set on Normal. But I don’t think Maytags are as good as they used to be. I wish I had just repaired the old ones too!

    3. @Joyce J I hate side loading washers with a passion! I left this same comment on yesterdays video because she has the old school style of washer top fill that doesn’t lock

  7. I CAN relate to the reading dilemma and the pressure grows as I age because I become more physically aware that there is a limited number of books in my future.
I always appreciate your supplements/nutrients and skin videos so always, yes! Very intrigued by your horse chestnut comment as a lifelong stander with varicose veins and leg swelling that my doctor has just brushed off.
Thanks for all that you do!

    1. So funny, have a dozen or so that I debate where to start daily for the same reason. We need to think differently lol

    2. When did she talk about horse chestnut? It’s the second comment I read but I have no idea at what point in the video she spoke about it…

  8. When I was eighteen I worked in a cafe. At the cafe we periodically had coffee tastings to try different coffee from different origins. We didn’t ever use the coffee machine for coffee tastings. We were taught how to hand wash the French press. Eventually, a few months after learning how to make coffee from a French press I then purchased one. Best purchase ever! The whole French press needs to be disassembled on the top part (the mesh metal part), otherwise you will get some coffee residue stuck in the mesh wired area which will have bacteria growth (even if washed in a dishwasher). Hand washing your French press will make it last longer. And if ever in a blackout power outage you won’t face the challenge of a machine being unable to work.

    1. @Momo Fuku Doodoo Windu Yeah, depending on where you live, there are laws in order to keep it all contained I guess. 🤷‍♀

    2. @Momo Fuku Doodoo Windu Don’t ask me why we have a Girl Scout’s organization in our area. We learned nothing from our group in my youth, and we didn’t even sell cookies. 🤷‍♀

    3. I like the Veggie Impossible Burger, so good ! I buy them frozen at Costco, but you can find them at other stores too. ☺️

  9. Was just at a CVS last week & purchased their CVS brand equivalent of the LaRoche Posey moisturizer. Love it on my dry sensitive skin.

  10. I quit using anti bacterial products after my experience with Colgate’s antibacterial toothpaste, back in 2006. I was pregnant & it seemed to help with my dental issues at first, but like 4 hrs later the plaque would build up so much worse than with regular toothpaste. It made me wonder what the antibacterial soaps were doing to the bacteria buildup on my hands.

    1. Oh no, you just finally had properly cleaned plaque buildup off. Your teeth were just so clean you noticed more gunk as you ate and drank throughout the day because you started with a clearer canvas. When they were less clean(comparatively of course), your buildup from everything in your mouth would be less noticeable. In the future, it may be a good idea to talk to your doctor/dentist for a breakdown if you have concerns before you change your routine or just to know if there’s something to worry about:) That layer is perfectly normal and really supposed to be removed after every meal but twice a day is what dentists tell people to aim for since it’s very easy for it to coat teeth and build over time without thorough cleaning. Which of course means bacteria in the coating that could cause decay. Just wanted to shared what I know:)

  11. 4:25 I got that Cosori kettle for Christmas and use it everyday for tea! I drink all types too, so the different temps come in handy!

  12. Hi Dr Dray, your shoulders are awesome. I am working through your videos to start a workout regime based solely on your routines in hopes to develop shoulders like yours!

  13. i finally got my hands on the new neutrogena tinted mineral sunscreen and i’m blown away! it took a while to spot it in stores and to find my shade but im glad i found it because it is the BEST sunscreen i’ve ever used. the medium shade blended flawlessly into my skin. im obsessed

    1. Ordered the medium tint on Amazon after I saw the review. Hoping it’s awesome because it is slightly cheaper than Drmtlgy tinted sunscreen, which I’ve used for years.

  14. I tried that LRP Lipikar balm on a whim after seeing it in Ulta. It was extremely moisturizing, but I hated the packaging. It easily punctured and I had to seal it in another bag to keep using it.

Thanks for mentioning horse chestnut! My varicose veins are genetic and unfortunately I’ve had mine since my early/mid 20s. I forget they’re there in cold weather when I’m in tights. In spring/summer, I’m embarrassed and just want to wear something short without having to think strategically about placement, length, etc.

  15. Thank you for recommending the Albolene Milk. Because of a disability, it’s sometimes hard to get to the sink to wash-off sunscreen. Also, I use those scent beads not in the wash, but at the bottom of my trash cans in the bathrooms. Those rooms smell heavenly!

  16. Dr Dray, that description of the hamburger patty was so yuk, and I still haven’t gotten over yesterday’s video about the creepy spores under leaves and am still so grossed out over the part about hair in the hair trap – oh my gosh! Have a great Sunday 😊.

  17. Sooo into your realness and soft spoken voice. These videos are my current anti-anxiety / emotional support animal. Plus I learn more about skincare ❤️.

    1. I have an emotional support animal and anxiety. This is not that. No offense, it’s just sometimes the seriousness of mental health disorders gets downplayed when people use real psychological terminology interchangeably with non psychology related topics. You seem to be saying these calm you or bring you a sense of peace. That is a more proper way to word it. I love my ESA, but he’s not always soothing lol and has his own emotional crises for me to deal with at times, on top of general care. 😅

  18. Enjoyed the vlog and the trip to CVS. I agree, appliances don’t hold up like they use to and it seems most people just buy a new one instead of having it repaired. But we live in a throw away society so there ya go. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a tranquil evening. 💞

    1. Hi Mary!! Hope You had a Beautiful Day, and That Your Evening Will Be Filled With Love, Tranquility, and Coziness!! Sweet Dreams, and God Bless You Always my Sweet Friend!!🙏❤🕊❤🕊🙏
