    1. I thought this was a Neogen or SK ii dupe. I was really disappointed when I got home and actually read the ingredients. I should have looked before buying.

  1. Omg being waiting for this review!! I clicked on notification so fast for this video!😂 Can’t wait for your opinions on their New Multi-Antioxidant serum❤

    1. the information before the review is actually most helpful, and makes you understand what the product does, so I wouldn’t skip it

  2. @12:30 – all I needed to hear lol haha, thank you Dr. Dray for this review !! Have a wonderful Tuesday🥰

  3. I make my own blend of glycerin and distilled water that I put on after cleansing, before serums. My skin feels much more hydrated when I do this. I feel so validated in creating my at-home blend…just call me TO Jr. 😂

    1. @@MusicLover-sb7mo1-3 or 1-4 ratio -glycerin to water. You can also add glycerin to your serum or moisturizer. I think the ratio is 1-3 for that.

    2. @@tmariek2If the water is distilled, not really, and it can be kept in the fridge. But adding to a serum or moisturizer 1-3 (glycerin to product) is a way to use it without premixing.

    3. @ distilled water can still grow bacteria. It’s less likely to. The bottle isn’t sterilized. Then bottle should be free of contamination. Like no fingers in it.

  4. So basically Estee Lauder buys full control of The Ordinary and starts cranking out products left and right (whether they’re necessary or not), which seems the standard procedure when brands are bought out.

    1. Estee Lauder owns EVERYTHING. At this point I would not be surprised to hear they bought Blackrock, Amazon, or Google.

    2. I’m thinking back to drunk elephant. The founder said you don’t need this product or that product and that’s why DE doesn’t make/sell it. Cue Shiseido buying DE and they start making/selling those same products the original DE founder said weren’t necessary.

    3. Many of the brands purchased by Lauder die horrible deaths a few years later, or they’re milked for all their worth and alienate their original customer base. Being bought-out by Lauder makes brand founders rich, but it can be the kiss of death for their life’s work.

    4. @ I’ve heard that about any of the big corporations (Shiseido, L’Oreal, Unilever, etc) who buy smaller brands, get all they can out of them, and then the brand dies.

  5. Thank you for this review I’ve been really skeptical of the claims of this product thinking it’s way too good to be true.. I do like the ordinary but they seem to want to put out so many new things to keep relevant when they should just stick with what’s scientifically proven.. or just keep the experimental things on their other lines like niod etc

  6. I believe that the reason they say not to get near your eyes is possibly due to the preservatives and chelating agents used to formulate this product

  7. I recently (past month) purchased this very essence along w the milky toner (which is supposed to have a gentle exfoliation)-I use these two before my Corsyx peptide serum. Love the combo and how it makes my skin feel. For daytime a few times a week I also started using their copper peptide serum. Hasn’t been long enough to see any difference. But I think this essense will be a keeper. It makes my skin feel and look good.

  8. Dr Dray Trader Joe’s just released 2 new sunscreens! Please give a review whenever you can. Love your videos. Thank you for all the skin advice you’ve given us over the years. ❤

    1. @@db-gb5xi I really like the lip SPF! it has a thick waxiness that helps it stay on and not slide off into my mouth or onto my water bottle, like the Sun Bum lip SPF that I have and hate.

  9. You’re the most beautiful. To top it off you’re also the most smart. I just truly appreciate you so much and thank you for all your open information to all of us. I love learning from you and your skin speaks for itself!

  10. You’ve saved me so much money over the years and you continue to do so. I appreciate you so much for that. Thanks for review if this product. I think I’ll pass, so money saved. 😊 Happy Tuesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a relaxing evening. 💞

  11. Cosrx 6peptide essence makes the same claims. I’ve been using for over a year in conjunction with my skin care and I still look like a 73 yr old lady! Oh well, one can only dream!😅thanks Doctor Dray! It’s always a pleasure!🙏🏻🥰

  12. For the price, you might as well use the Cosrx 6 peptide booster…it at least has a little more to it and still watery / hydrating base.

  13. It’s only been a month, but so far it appears that there is an improvement in my skin since I began using the Ordinary’s Multi-Active Essence for better absorption of their Copper Peptide and Niacinamide/Zinc serums. I follow through with moisturizer and 50 SPF sunscreen and wrap it up with my makeup base and setting powder. I also use their Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion at night and exfoliate once a week with their 7% Glycolic Toner. But only time will tell if the “improvement” with several problem areas continues!
