  1. I just use a exfoliating serum that I get from the dollar store it great (and yeah it has fragrance but my skin like it)

  2. Thanks Dr. Dray! What would you recommend for hormonal acne? The rest of my face is relatively under control, but I keep getting big bumps / subterranean acne on my chin

    1. I’ve had success with Winlevi for my jawline hormonal acne, which is a topical prescription with a similar active ingredient to Spironolactone.

    2. girl i have hormonal acne and it is soooo painful!! ive literally tried everything and honestly its just worth it going to the dermatologist once and getting a prescription for TRETNOIN!!! my acne was LITERALLY gone in 2 weeks and i haven’t had it since TRUST girl, ive played these unfair games before😭😭 good luck❤️🫶🏼

    3. When I had it, my doctor prescribed spironolactone. Only had to take it for a short while. Talk to your doctor and see if it’s an option!

  3. Started to use Neutrogena orange cleanser with salicylic acid and occasionally enzyme powder. Additionally, I use some serums (either just moisturizing or anti-imperfections depending on the skin condition). My creams are either Neutrogena Gel (day cream) or the Rituals (night, currently using this, but I am not impressed). My skin is feeling quite fine at the moment. I still have a couple of pimples before my period, but generally it’s fine.

    1. @@JustinSmith-Osugithanks for the recommendation! However, I live in Europe, and we don’t have that store here. I also still have the Inkey List Salicylic cleanser half full. I plan to finish it after Neutrogena and see whether or not it’s better.

  4. I use a salicylic acid cleanser & an adapalene gel & it’s changed my skin for the better! My skin does not tolerate benzoyl peroxide, though, at all!

    1. @@peyponch3254try the gleanser with salicylic acid, it’s not stripping at all like other SA cleansers imo!!

    2. @peyponch3254 Use a soothing one. My skin is ridiculously sensitive!! No exaggerating. It’s horrible. I use COSRX Calming foam cleanser, with salicylic acid & CentellAC-RX. It’s amazing. Just takes a little bit. Bottle lasts forever. It’s calming, soothing & hasn’t dried me out. Usually I hop around with skin products, but I’ve stuck with this one. Even the actives they have are amazing & don’t irritate my skin, which is super rare… But, I’m sure you know how personalized skin care is. But, something to check out, if you have issues like I do finding something that works, but doesn’t exacerbate every issue you have & even some ya didn’t.

    3. I use benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment instead of all over and it helps speed up the healing process, it dried my skin out so bad when I tried to use it all over 😬

  5. i use the dermalogica scrub thing when i wash my face in the shower, i need to be more consistent but it has helped my chin lol

  6. Cetaphil is such an awful product full of toxic ingredients. And I don’t know why all the doctors recommend it. Your skin will only get worse using these types of products… Ih you want a good face cleanser, massage your face with organic jojoba oil and wipe it off with a wet face towel. Use clean beauty products. Your skin will thank you.

  7. Im not sure if you have done a video yet but could you do a video on pregnancy safe skin care? I’ve noticed throughout my pregnancy journey when I had asked about a list of safe ingredients to use neither the obgyn nor the nurses could give me clear answers. I’m not sure if maybe that’s just my experience but I would get answers like stop using sacylic acid but was never given an alternative. I wonder if it’s because most people believe their skin will clear up during pregnancy but that was not the case for me in the beginning.
