Random House in NYC used to have 2 Open Houses a year where many authors came in and were interviewed by RH staff either individually or as part of a panel. A lunch was included in the ticket price. They have not had one since the pandemic and I really miss it. I find it so interesting to hear authors talk about their books, their writing process, what they read, how they got into writing, etc. I’m sure this was a fantastic event. And others are right–that dress was great.
